Who We Are

Neighborhood Development Corporation is a community-focused, non-profit that works to revitalize neighborhoods and promote sustainable development. We rehabilitate, or redevelop, commercial and residential properties in existing neighborhoods in Des Moines.

The NDC Effect

Neighborhood Development Corporation focuses on three essential core values when deciding on the direction we will take moving forward with any project: collaboration, revitalization and catalyzation. It is imperative we follow these core values because without them we cannot fulfill our true potential as an organization and achieve what we call, The NDC Effect. Below, you will find the statistical proof that developing property with our methodology ignites the prosperity and value communities need to grow into the future.

Projects

Every project NDC undertakes is driven by a purpose to bring greater value, connectivity and utility to the neighborhoods and communities we serve. We leverage our experience, professionalism and key partnerships with government, general contractors and city planners in the industry to provide innovative solutions to underserved communities.

"The addition of Madison Flats to the neighborhood has been a good thing for all of us here at Baker Electric.  It is nice to see ground that was vacant for so many years, that no one seemed to want, turn into vibrant, upscale properties! We now enjoy being part of the neighborhood even more!"
